narwhal.

two of my favourite places in town, for sure, are the aquarium and the natural history museum. I can never get enough of them: the time I spend there goes so fast I don't even realise that hours are passed.
***
today, me and jacopo went to the natural history museum and spent the whole afternoon looking at all the weird and spectacoular animals.

the narwhal caught my attention the most. and I decided to make a collage for him.

*these two lovely and complicated words are my first memory of miia.
today I feel like the happiest person in the world: the sun is shining, my little plant has now two white tiny flowers, and I got the most wonderful mix tape from my dear miia.

have you ever seen anything more arty?

tööt tööt.

TÖÖT TÖÖT:
I don't exactly know what's the meaning of it, but I like it. my penpal miia always uses it, and it has now become one of my favourite words.

camera obscura.

camera obscura live at la casa 139
on the 14th of october, yesterday night.

I was waiting for so long for this to happen. and I had to be in the front row. even tho they didn't play "suspended from class", it was an amazing show: they played beautifully and some of my dearest friends were there. plus, I got to get a hold of something precious and got it signed, as you can see (even tho she wrote pauly, instead of polly...but that's no big deal. I still love her) and me and Jacopo had to wait for almost a hour to get these photos done, but I got to talk to lovely tracyanne and I was on top of the world.
CAMERA OBSCURA LOVE.

***cora collaborates with pesci pneumatici gallery in bologna.

she contacted me thorugh an e-mail and her stories came in italian. I tried to translate them in english as close as possible to the real version. you can read the italian text here:

passport pt.2.

I finally got my passport.
I find the special texture of the paper and the images rather beautiful. plus, for the first time in my life, I am ready to fly outside the european union and that all feels extremely exciting.

birdhouse.

I like to spend my evenings doing quiet things such has writing, drawing or baking.
here's what me and Jacopo did yesterday: a little birdhouse. we built it and paint it afterwards.

in the north everyone has at least one birdhouse per garden. it was a pleasure for the eyes to see those lovely birds rest to get food and water. once we even saw a whole group of little red birdhouses called "birds hotel". it was heart-warming.
*in milano people want to get rid of birds: they even sell poison against them. I think that somebody who doesn't like birds is a bad person.
