Wensi is one of the first people I have met in Helsinki and one of the most special people I know: she has a beautiful artistic soul that reflects her style and her approach to life. Lintustudio took a photowalk with Wensi on a Sunday two weeks ago in Vanhakaupunkilahti.

What I love the most about photowalks beside taking photographs are the conversations with the people standing on the other side of the lens. at the end of a photowalk with someone I feel like I know them better and the last photographs I take are always the ones I am the most happy with. these are the last two photographs from Lintustudio's photowalk with Kate and my favourite of them all. next up another photowalk with another friend: coming soon!

a few more photographs from our photowalk with Kate around Niskala Arboretum. even though I am very happy about how these turned out I regret not using a lower iso film: the light was so intense a Kodak Ektar 100 would have been much better. I have grown very fond of Ektar film lately!

after two weeks of sunshine I wonder if I can safely say that spring has finally arrived in Helsinki: it was wonderful to finally be able to enjoy being outdoors again! last Sunday Lintustudio went for a lovely photowalk with Kate around Niskala Arboretum: the light was magnificent.

last but not least post dedicated to the series of portraits I took of my friend Masha: these are possibly my most favourite photographs of the whole series. shooting at Talvipuutarha was my best option because of the cold weather but I am looking forward to taking my camera outdoors again!

Passer Domesticus was born in March 2009 and that makes it a 6-year-old blog: that got me thinking about the reason why I blog and wether I do it for myself or for the ones who stop by. during the past six years my photographic style has evolved and so has this blog and my way of blogging. I often find that posts and photographs that I am proud of are not the ones that the readers like the most and vice versa. should the content of a blog please its owner or its audience?
